Briefly tell us about yourself.
I am Obuakoeze Oluchukwu, the founder of Proper Parenting Academy and an NGO Smiley Joy Childcare Foundation. I am also a wife and mother to two strong and solid nations.
In your wildest imagination, were you expecting twins?
I never thought about it. You know it is one thing to know that there is such a thing as twins, and you don’t want it, but me, I have not even once thought about whether I wanted twins or not.
When you discovered you were pregnant with twins, what was your first reaction?
Happy and indifferent simultaneously because the pregnancy was already showing me things. I was having hyperemesis gravidarum(Hyperemesis gravidarum is a medical condition that refers to severe and persistent nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. It goes beyond the typical “morning sickness” that many pregnant women experience.) So we kinda suspected that this pregnancy is doing too much. Something must be right somewhere.
Does twin run in your lineage? Yes, it does.
How does it feel to be a first-time mum of twins?
Being a first-time mum of twins is a beautiful but challenging experience. It’s not easy, especially when there’s little to no help around. The financial demands can also be overwhelming at times.
Are your twins identical? If no, do you sometimes wish they were identical, or are you indifferent?
The doctors said I have one placenta so they should be identical but I’m not seeing it though a fellow twin mom said they will look more like each other as they grow

Would you want to have twins again? Tell us your reason.
No, no and no.
Kai raising them is not easy. Especially when you don’t have helpers around and the financial aspect will not be here.

In all situations and circumstances, you are still God. We reverence and hallow your name. You said in your word that none shall be barren in the land and I stand upon your word to decree and declare the release of miracle babies. Let every woman carry her baby and babies, in Jesus’ name.
