Briefly tell us about yourself.
I am Uchenna Okafor, popularly known as Uc-pen. I am an anatomist, content writer, ghostwriter, non-fiction book editor, and virtual assistant.
What does purpose mean to you? Do you feel you are fulfilling your purpose?
To me, purpose is about fulfilling and living in alignment with the essence for which one was created. Everyone on this earth has a purpose, and I confidently believe that I am fulfilling mine.
What motivates you in all that you do?
God is my biggest motivation. Additionally, my background serves as a reminder that I cannot end up small or conform to the negative expectations that have been placed upon me.
How do you handle life’s challenges?
Life has thrown many challenges my way, and I must admit it can be overwhelming at times. One effective way I handle these challenges is by going to God in total surrender and asking for help. I also seek guidance from people I trust can help strengthen my faith as I navigate through tough times. Finally, I reflect on my past struggles and the bright future that awaits me if I can overcome my current obstacles.
How can someone move from the shadows to the spotlight?
For me, moving from the shadows to the spotlight involves self-discovery and the determination to step out of obscurity. A key factor in maintaining one’s position in the spotlight is possessing outstanding skills or talents, which ultimately translates to being a person of value.
What skills do you recommend young people learn?
I advise everyone to focus on developing soft skills, technical skills, and business skills, as these are what truly lead to financial success.
What advice would you give to our readers?
Strive to acquire skills and become so exceptional that employers will have no choice but to hire you. Also, remember to keep the God factor in mind, as He is the lifter of men.
